Apache and Nginx, PHP with multiple versions, Node.js and Python — start, stop and switch versions in a click.
Devaron is a free, portable all-in-one local development environment. Apache, Nginx, multi-version PHP, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis and more — with auto virtual hosts, SSL and one-click sharing. No installer, no clutter.
If you're looking for a good local development environment, Devaron is an all-in-one app that replaces the usual tangle of installers and config files. It bundles the servers, databases and tools you need, manages them with one click, and stays out of your way — one modern app, no installers and no config files.
All the pieces of a real web stack, managed from a single clean interface.
Apache and Nginx, PHP with multiple versions, Node.js and Python — start, stop and switch versions in a click.
Pin a different PHP version to each project (with a global default), on Apache and Nginx alike. Most tools only do this globally — Devaron does it per site.
MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis and Memcached. Manage them in the browser with phpMyAdmin and Adminer (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQLite).
Every folder in your www becomes a site automatically. Pretty URLs (virtual hosts) with your own domain suffix, local SSL/HTTPS, and Laravel/Symfony public folders detected.
One click puts any site online with a public URL via Cloudflare Tunnel (no account) or ngrok — choosing the web server and HTTP/HTTPS.
New project right from the app: blank, Laravel, Symfony, WordPress or Node + Vite — it scaffolds the folder, picks the PHP version and can create the database for you.
Point a pretty domain at any local port (Vite, Node, Python) with a reverse proxy, and open any site on your phone with a QR code over the same Wi-Fi.
A built-in dev toolbox — JWT decode, hashes, Base64, UUID, timestamps and "what's using this port" — plus quick commands like timed shutdown, lock and flush DNS, and a Ctrl+K command palette.
Git, Composer, phpMyAdmin, Adminer and Mailpit for catching test emails. A terminal that already knows your environment (PHP, Node, Composer on PATH).
Run commands on a schedule inside the Devaron environment — perfect for the Laravel scheduler, queue jobs and maintenance scripts.
Live CPU, memory, disk, GPU and network usage, quick links, and real-time logs for every service.
Portable (no install), system tray, run at startup, auto-update, dark/light themes and multiple languages.
Run legacy and modern projects side by side — PHP 7.4 here, 8.4 there — without ever touching a config file.
No installer, no registry mess. It all lives in one folder you can move or carry on a USB drive.
Show a client your work in seconds with a public URL — no deploy, no setup.
A fast, clean desktop app — not a stack of scripts. Dropdowns, icons, dark mode, your language.
Free to use, forever. If it saves you time, a donation keeps it growing.
Laravel, WordPress, Symfony and any PHP/Node project run out of the box — public folders and pretty URLs included.
A complete local stack, ready out of the box — one app, zero config.
Download, unzip, run. That's it — no installer.
Portable desktop app — Windows today, macOS and more coming · 32 & 64-bit
Yes — completely free to use. Devaron is not open source, but it's free and supported by optional donations.
No. The source isn't public, but the app is free for everyone and always will be.
Yes. Pick a PHP version per site (with a global default) and Devaron routes each one correctly on both Apache and Nginx.
phpMyAdmin and Adminer are built in. Adminer alone manages MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL and SQLite from the browser; MongoDB works great with MongoDB Compass.
Devaron runs on Windows today, with macOS and other platforms on the way. It's a portable app (32 & 64-bit) — just unzip and run.
Devaron bundles everything — Apache, Nginx, per-site PHP, multiple databases and one-click sharing — in one modern, portable app, with no installer and no config files.
Devaron will always be free. If it makes your day easier, a donation helps keep it alive and improving.
